First step - glue all the puzzle joints together, and then coat (most of) the parts in epoxy. Below is a picture of one of the bulkheads that came in two pieces - the puzzle joints are pretty easy to glue together, no need to put a strip of backing fibreglass tape on the joints (though I did consider that in a couple of cases).

After all the puzzle joints were together, on almost all of the parts I needed to put three coats of epoxy on each of them. I decided at the time that I only needed to put one coat on each and that I’d further coat them at a later point once they were assembled, but at least at the time I’m writing this I’ve decided that wasn’t the right decision, so before I start assembling everything I’m going to have to go back and make more room in the garage so that I can go back and coat everything a second and third time (sigh).

Next up, organize the garage a bit more and start working on the centreboard and rudder.
