Gluing seat tops and finishing the motor mount

Gluing the seat tops down was a bit anti climactic. Most of the effort was in the prep of painting, cutting hatch holes, etc.

First sand the underside epoxy so the cleats...
...can bond really well with the seat top

Of course before the seat tops could be permanently affixed I also had to finish putting the two coats of bilgekote on.

That said, seeing the seat tops glued in is quite nice.

The other thing finished was to glue in the final top doubler part of the motor mount that attaches to the transom above the line of seat top/lazarette in the stern.

The entire assembly wanted to slide upwards here from the clamping pressure
That top clamp did a lot of work holding it in place
